Wil : quality control and follow-up of building materials (concrete, asphalt mixes, aggregates, cements, binders, emulsions, etc...) and in-situ tests (soils, pavements, ...).

Today, more than 1200 computers are equipped with wil, all over France, but also abroad (Spain, Belgium, United-Kingdom, Portugal, Morocco, Algeria, Hungary...), in major international groups as well as in many small companies. Very quickly, it has established itself as the market leader in France.

It is dedicated to material producers, buyers and independent laboratories and exists in several versions, to fit those fields of activity.

ABOUT WIL
As an open application, wil easily interacts with standard Windows© environment software. For instance, it can manage spreadsheets (Excel©, OpenOffice©, ...) to insert external data and offer more flexibility and freedom in result display.

Of course it can communicate with any measurement device, through a serial interface and after a specific protocol has been defined.

HISTORY, CREATION
A first version of wil was created in 1991 to meet the requirements of an aggregate producer who wanted to get the NF certification. In close cooperation with quarries and public works, Arcade took the opportunity of these synergies to make wil evolve to such extent that it is now the market leader for building materials control.

Constant evolutions of regulatory and technical aspects of quality management required highly-adaptable software, with powerful statistical and graphic analysis functions. To meet all these specifications, wil relies on a powerful and secured database management system.

TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT
Wil works on any PC/PS or 100% compatible-computer, in 32-bit Windows (95, 98, NT, XP, Vista, W7) environment. The space needed for the software and the data files, as well as the execution speed, have been optimised.

Minimum configuration: Pentium type processor, 512 Mb RAM, 120 Mb available on hard disk – Graphic card and SVGA colour screen – Printer with good graphic capacities, colour recommended.
