ABOUT MENTOL
Analysis generated by mentol can be exported to Windows© standard applications (such as Excel©) for more flexibility and freedom of result presentation.

It can communicate with measurement devices or specific software to integrate or export data (particularly to retrieve results from analysis laboratories), after a specific interface has been created.

HISTORY, CREATION
Mentol is an innovative and precursory application in its field. The project was launched in 2004 as regards the Environment part, in partnership with the ENCEM (a French environmental consultancy related to the aggregate producers union) and material producers. Needs expressed in the field have led us to complete it with safety and land management modules.
Today, an aggregate control module is being developed in order to include wil functionalities while taking advantage from mentol technology.

On the cutting edge of technology, mentol has been developed in full web, to offer optimum information sharing and much flexibility. it can also work in SaaS mode, to meet new economic needs (operating cost control), and we have called upon the services of a hosting provider to assure a perfect control of risks and security.

We have chosen to go on working in DELPHI language, in DotNet -a real professional tool for programmers- and to rely on SQL SERVER database management system, which is powerful and robust.

TECHNICAL ENVIRONNEMENT
Mentol results from the latest computer technologies and fully takes advantage of the web assets. It can be installed either on our web server (Internet/Extranet) or on yours (Intranet).

Application access station
The computer has to be equipped with an internet browser (Internet Explorer (IE) version 5.5 or later). Communication lines should be broadband (512 K minimum).

Web server (if installation on your server)
The computer has to be equipped with SQL Server (version 2000 or later), Framework .Net 2.0 and be in Windows 2000 PRO o 2000 Server, XP PRO o Server 2003.
