IcareIcare : administration and sales management of quarries, sandpits, waste reception centres, classification units, asphalt plants, concrete plants, and more generally all activity based on bulk product weighing.

From price discounts, to statistical studies, including weighbridge and invoicing, icare perfectly meets the specific needs of these activities, whether in single-station environment, LAN or WAN (TSE, CITRIX).

It has been designed on a modular structure, to be available in several versions and in multi-site and multi-company environment.

ABOUT ICARE
As an open software package, it can easily communicate with Windows® standard applications: word processors, spreadsheets, in order to import external data and offer more flexibility and freedom.

Data can be exchanged with any financial accounting software, after the transfer format has been studied.

Of course, icare can also communicate with weigh indicators, through a series interface, after a specific protocol has been determined, in master or slave mode, in particular for an automatic connection with a weighbridge.

HISTORY, CREATION
icare was created in 1987 in MS Dos version, as an answer to the specifications of a big quarry.

To take into account technical evolutions -both in computer science and in extractive industry- it has been re-programmed under Windows®, relying on a powerful and secured database management system.
eStats module is a first step to icare web development in DotNet environment, with SQL Server.

TECHNICAL ENVIONNEMENT
icare works on any PC/PS or 100% computer in 32-bit Windows® (95, 98, NT, XP, Vista, W7) environment. The space required for the software and data files, as well as the execution speed have been optimised.

Minimum configuration: Pentium-type processor - 512 Mb RAM - 2 Gb available on hard disk – Graphic card and colour VGA screen – Pin-dot-matrix or lazer printer for tickets and invoices – Printer with good graphic capacities for statistics graphs, colour recommended.
